Let me just tell you here, he doesn't mind having you on his lap while he is free. He'd shift you to his side while he is crushing herbs tho because 1 some herbs can be harmful if you don't know how to deal with it, and 2 he likes to be fully focused on you so having to focus on two different things while one of them being you really keeps him off the tracks.
Also ri isn't used to having his attention diverted a lot. Until you came along, many people were either eerie of him or kept to themselves enough so he could focus whatever he was doing.
So if he was in public, he might just ignore you with and idle hand on your waist. If he is doing something, then you are being shifted to side for a moment before getting fully scooped back to his lap once it's done.

Like i said, he is used to having you messing around with him, so he'll just wrap an lazily, but firm, arm around your waist and continue whatever he was doing.
Idk why but I feel like kon would actually initiate physical touch a lit more than ri, like leaning on you when he is thinking something (or just to annoy you), and keeping your hands together in public so he is much more used to having his focus diverted than ri.
I don't think he'll tease a lot, he still teases you normally but these actions just became so normal with you for him that he doesn't register them as anything useful for teasing. It's just normal.
