// omfg. I’m so glad you asked me this because I was dwelling on the fact that I had so many ideas for songs that fit Geddie’s relationships with other muses. And Mari and this song were one of them :’) 

While this song does mention love, it doesn’t have to be romantic love ^^ it can be platonic, which makes sense since I'm pretty sure Geddie has a platonic love for Mari. Geddie’s true love (and one of her greatest talents) is music--so this song is very fitting from her point of view, especially considering Mari’s talent when it comes to visual art. //

Name: Monte Cristo “MC” Sawyer-Melody 

Gender: Male

General appearance: He’s about average height with a slender, lithe, and toned build. Dark skin and bright white hair that’s always messy, no matter how hard he tries to tame it. He has heterochromia (one blue eye and one brown eye), beard scruff on his chin, and prominent cheekbones. He has very tacky fashion sense that his mothers are almost ashamed of, but he doesn’t seem to care :’)

Personality: Lively, eternally optimistic, and very much a go-getter. MC loves being the center of attention and he’s highly theatrical. Raised by two talented and creative parents, MC loves anything related to art–music, writing, photography, painting, you name it, he loves it. He’s highly right-brained, hates being bored, and has a sense of adventure close to his heart. Like Geddie, he’s completely shameless and he has a very goofy sense of humour. Like Mari, he can be tough and have quite the way with words when insulted or upset over something. 

Special talents: He can paint the most vivid and detailed portrait of a person in one hour tops. He’s also a natural choreographer and good at it, too. Like Geddie, he has a Stand. It’s called Dead or Alive, and it’s a stand bound to dust. Using it, MC can move and teleport via dust and reappear anywhere else from the same element. He enjoys using it to sneak up on his moms and give them surprise hugs.

Who they like better: HE LOVES BOTH HIS MOMS EQUALLY BECAUSE HE’S A LOVING AND AFFECTIONATE SON.

Who they take after more: I’d say a close combination of both. Personality-wise and physically.

Personal headcanon: I was watching Dead or Alive’s music video for “You Spin Me Round” while I was drawing him. So he’s pretty heavily based on the early Pete Burns. He also has a pet tarantula named Jonesey. Also, he’s named after both The Count of Monte Cristo, as well as the Monte Cristo sandwich. Geddie was hungry when she came up with the name…
