                                The past days were hazy.       All she could remember were the screams she outed when they forced tests on her, the tears destroying the very last of her self-esteem, anxiety rising to peaks she never thought she'd had.

     But that was nothing compared to what had to come. They told her they had to implant several chips into her, merely for a cause she didn't wish to contribute to. She didn't want to be a computer. She just wanted for her life to be as happy as it was only a few months ago, not being in the continuous fear of becoming something she is not.

      Sitting at an office work table, she gazed at the papers she had to sign-- tears having ruined the ink with which she had written to the to point it became unreadable, eventually her deciding perhaps work wasn't the right thing to focus on right now.

      She stood up carefully, putting the few papers that she had to do on a pile to the right, laying the pen on top of it.
