7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate

oh man like, so many? i'm generally not a very crafty person (though i am trying to find some kind of activity to Use My Hands in, as it were), so i have massive respect for anyone who bothers with a traditional medium of any kind. oils and acrylics, watercolor and gauche, clay, stonemasonry, basketweaving, woodcarving, whatever and whathaveyou. if the mastery is there i'll find something to appreciate.

8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in

oh man, so many. i've always had an interest in telling stories so i have a litany of them from when i was a child.

one of them was about a ragtag group of quirky characters (a ship's rat that was given sentience and command over mushrooms, a dandy in tattered rags, a roman gladiator... and the Girl who i forget oop) traversing an evershifting pocket dimension in search of... something or other. the characters are still vaguely in my mind somewhere but after i became. er. Fascinated. :) by the iron giant my priorities in storytelling shifted.
