Normal joint aches but sudden sharp pain in my spine that makes mobility very difficult and it's in my upper back instead of my lower back where the defect is that started everything

Knee has been acting up worse since the show too

Osteoarthritis/OA + Rheumatoid/RA

Osteoarthritis(left) <- a flag for those with osteoarthritis, a form of arthritis where the cartilage in joints begins to break down causing mobility issues, pain and so on.

Rheumatoid(right) <- a flag for those with Rheumatoid Arthritis, a form of arthritis where the body's immune system attacks healthy cells in the joints causing pain, inflammation, mobility issues and so on.

Psoriatic/PsA + Fibromyalgia

Psoriatic(left) <- a flag for those with psoriatic arthritis, a form of arthritis where the skin develops rashes. this effects the skin and nails, causing large red rashes and pitted nails.

Fibromyalgia(right) <- a flag for those with fibromyalgia, where the body has pain, soreness and tiredness all throughout, causing sleep issues and heightened sensitivity.

Gout

obviously this killed me deader than dog doo, but i’ve been crawling out of my grave for two weeks. and, my god, it kind of…works?

i just vacuumed and no one breathing down my neck for inspections. and then cleaned out the vacuum. i became the vacuum cleaner. put up pictures for the first time since 2012. fixed stuff.

my everything still hurts but the howling void of just constant misery has dimmed down to like, a single annoying neighbor telling me how to do something (wrong) while i do it.

This is a question I get in my support groups a lot!

Why do I feel so tired after taking my biologic?

A very fair question. We call it the "Humira Hangover" (even if you aren't using Humira, the alliteration is important)

It can be different for everyone, but typically, when starting out with a new biologic treatment (Humira, Enbrel, Cosentyx, etc.) you will feel a bit tired to freaking exhausted a day or two after.

Usually this will only last the first few months after starting. Maybe longer or shorter, but it seems to happen to everyone.

For me, I'm exhausted the day of injection, so I try to do my shot at night so it will help me sleep.
