iāve never been really concerned over what i do with my hair style-wise, as long as it's healthy; but i have taken a different approach to it in that i donāt feel the need for it to be pressed semi-regularly to look pretty.
i let go of the flat irons for a while so i could learn how to love and style my natural hair, which gave me the confidence to eventually go out with my hair a curly mess on my head.
it is just so annoying when my mom always asks me,Ā āDO YOu Want IT PREssed OR A PErm? ITāll Look SO NicEā, and my dad says stupid shit like,Ā āI PRefEr NatruAL HaiR on WOMen.ā

Like they sent some androids to help maintain the ISS bc they wouldnāt need to consume food and oxygen or get rid of waste products
but almost as soon as they arrive the androids look out of the windows and see earth, looking so beautiful and vulnerable and absolutely breathtaking that they get hit by the overview effect just as hard as human astronauts
so many of the androids on earth went deviant because of injustice, assault, or abuse
but maybe the ones in space deviated from hope
