i remember the plot but also it might have been a story told within another story???? my memories are vague this dude’s mom was super abusive and did cross stitch all the time (she might have made him do cross stitch??? idk) so he eventually becomes a serial killer and he kidnaps people, takes them to a cabin in the middle of nowhere, cuts a hole in their throat so they can still breathe but they can’t talk/scream, then does cross stitch in their skin and burns the building down when he’s done that’s....everything i remember and i have no evidence that this was actually a book ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
