I kind of understand the criticisms about susie being really focused on noelle this chapter and disregarding parts of her identity for that but. I think maybe some of you have just never been a teenager in love before because from my experience it's EXACTLY like this
#rex text#ESPECIALLY right after you realize#i guess that doesn't nessicarialy make for a good story but i mean. yeah this is genuinely just what it's like#FROM MY EXPERIENCE as a weird butch lesbian#also this is not to say that you must also have been in love as a teen to understand or that everyone who has will#it's just the reason that the writing decisions made sense to me#although. one of my criticisms is i would've liked to see more internal conflict about her basically disregarding her past opinions for+#+ noelle's approval. yeah it happens but also it is viscerally uncomfortable in a way she can't place#maybe in or after that scene with flowery where she has the bow. and in theory she should like it but there's something really wrong +#+ and she has to try to grapple with that and weigh how far she's willing to go to be someone else for this. idk maybe i'm projecting#deltarune chapter 5#deltarune spoilers#< just in case for people filtering tags
