Two Israeli firms – InspireMD (NYSE: NSPR) and ReWalk Robotics (NASDAQ: RWLK) – saw their shares fall during the pre-market hours of Thursday on announcements of their respective stock offerings.

對於雙腳有缺陷而行動不便的人來說，相信沒有什麼比起能夠重新走路更加重要。而在科技不斷發展之下，目前已經有不少外骨骼系統可以協助他們。至於 ReWalk Robotics 最近推出的 ReWalk 6.0 外骨骼更經過最新改良，能夠令走路變得更加靈活。

據 ReWalk Robotics 的發言人表示，ReWalk 6.0 的最大特點在於採用了更輕巧的物料製成，因此對使用者不會帶來太大負擔。此外，ReWalk 6.0 更大幅提高了其定制性，除不論任何身高、體重及肢體尺寸的人都可以使用外，其步態控制能力亦有所改善。據了解 ReWalk 6.0 通過人體工學設計而成，只需將外骨骼綁在雙腳，然後再在手腕穿上控制器便可使用。

值竹留意的是 ReWalk 6.0 的整套系統都經常精心設計，裝置內的感應器可以即時測量到使用者的重心，而當上半身向前傾斜時，系統便會向髖關節和膝關節的摩打發出指令並產生動力，除可以做出正常的走路動作外，更能模仿一般人的行走步態，甚至一般外骨骼難以做出的轉身動作，透過 ReWalk 6.0 都可完全實現。

除定制性提高之外，ReWalk 6.0 在其他方面亦經過一定改良，比如其電池今次只需綁在臀部稍高的位置，而不像以往需要孭在身體背後，能夠令使用時更加舒適。至於行走速度方面，使用 ReWalk 6.0 時最高時速可達 2.6 公里，而官方更聲稱這是目前行走速度最快的外骨骼。

據了解今年較早的時候，美國 FDA 已經批准 ReWalk 一個較早期的型號用作臨床及個人使用。雖然最新款的 ReWalk 6.0 暫時仍未獲得認證，但該產品已經正式推出市場，只可惜其價格每套高達 77,000 美元（約 596,838 港元），相信應該未必人人負擔得起。
