“I’ve lost everything, including her. Like me, she’s turned into a revenant by Quan Chi but she’s lost all sense of love and goodwill. Your Kitana isn’t plagued by that sorcerer’s magic. I need her as much as you do!”

“I won’t let you take her with you! You’ll have to kill me first.”

“Challenge accepted.”

I know the dialogue isn’t perfect but I randomly got this idea while trying to come up with a new post. With the whole multiverse thing going on in the current MK game, I’d like to imagine that in the MKX timeline revenant Subzero was somehow able to regain his sense of self and goodwill despite being corrupted by Quan Chi’s magic but Kitana not so much and he desperately wants to help regain herself but is rejected since Kitana embraced what Quan Chi did to her.
