This beautifully embroidered Spencer was first seen in 2015 on Charlotte Riley as Arabella Strange in the miniseries 𝑱𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 & 𝑴𝒓. 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒍.   In 2018, it appeared in the film 𝑳𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒅𝒖 𝒉é𝒓𝒐𝒔 (𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒐), where Mélanie Laurent wore it as Elisabeth Beaugrand.   The costume was seen again in 2019 on Lily Sacofsky as Clara Brereton in 𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒏.   Learn more at: Bit.ly/RegRom156  

This oak leaf-patterned green waistcoat was spotted in the 2022 production 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒆 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒐𝒏, where Steven Mackintosh wore it as John Langton.   Several years before, it had actually been used by Jean Dujardin as Capitaine Charles-Grégoire Neuville in 𝑳𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒅𝒖 𝒉é𝒓𝒐𝒔 (𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒐).   Its first known sighting was ITV’s television miniseries 𝑫𝒐𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒆 on an extra, meaning it likely originated with an even 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒓 production.   Do you know where this costume originated?
