The past few years, Slor has done an exhibit at VCFMW of his prized Atari computers (among other things). In particular, there’s a really fun game he wrote called AtariNet for the Atari 1200XL (and I think 600XL? I don’t really know much about intercompatibility of their late 8-bit offerings). He’s sold cartridges of the game, and I’ve found it to be incredibly addictive. One problem: I can’t play it without a compatible Atari machine.
I discovered that he released a Commodore 64 port of the game, and rebranded it as RetroNet! You can download both versions here: http://www.atarinet.com/ It plays with keyboard, joystick, or mouse on the C64. You can imagine how happy I have to have found this. Try it out, it’s awesome!
