NOT EVEN A FLESH-WOUND COULD WIPE THE ENDLESSLY SMUG GRIN FROM JETT’S VISAGE, traces of adrenaline still floating in her veins in the aftermath of her heroism. Effortlessly, the agent leans back in her seat, fingers interlacing behind her head as a breath of wind from her lips blasted ashen locks out of her vision, her tattoos glowing briefly in reaction, nonchalant as ever. THEY’VE BEEN LIKE THIS FOR HE DOESN’T know how long now, cramped into this tiny, tiny space that was far too small for him to comfortably fit in, let alone another person, no matter how small she seemed in comparison. Blessedly enough, at least it wasn’t hot - the sun perpetually hidden by clouds and the air chilled with frigid autumn air. And she smells divine to boot, enough that he finds himself distracted. Distracted enough to not really be listening or paying attention to the outdoors, and the subsequent activity they should be watching for. Oh well. The tracker’s lips part, a sigh passing from betwixt them and stirring inky dark hair. His breath clouds in the small rooms air, and he blinks once, shifting a knee to relieve a slight ache and subsequently squeezing at her thigh with a calloused hand. An unintentional gesture, but... intimate. 

You look messy, Irelia tells herself, and straightens her posture in realization. She had been propping herself up with a hand - she didn’t blame her company for thinking she had stopped paying attention.

“It’s not that,” Irelia says, smoothing out her blouse. She grips at the arms of her chair, trying to find a comfortable position. “I’ve had a long day inside. Sitting at my desk makes me feel cramped.”

And the story Sage is sharing with her truly does pique her interest. She knows little about the Kinkou, outside the bits and pieces she’s gleaned from Akali.
