Title: Makeover
Fandom: One Piece
Rating: T
Content warnings: misgendering, canon-typical violence
Characters: Hina, S-Crocodile, S-Bat (Crocodileâs and Moriaâs Seraphim)
Ship: none
Prompt used : Restraining Bolt
Summary: Hina tries to bond with the living weapons placed under her care.
Excerpt:
âThis is an authority chip,â Kizaru said, holding up the device. âIt makes you, what do the kids call it these days? The daddy.â
âThe kids donât call it that,â Sentomaru said, with a weariness that suggested theyâd had this argument before.
âYou give them an order while youâre holding this, hmm? And theyâll obey. Scratch your nose, children.â
The Seraphim complied, some with more visible reluctance than others. The one with the plaid trousers stuck out his tongue. Kizaru slid the authority chip across the table to Hina. âWhy donât you try it? Be the daddy.â
She took the device and turned it between her fingers. Everyoneâs eyes were glued to her, waiting. âSay hello,â she said helplessly.
âHello,â said six childish voices at once. A seventh, louder voice accompanied them from the other side of the door.
âWeâll start with an easy mission, Rear Admiral, hmm?â Kizaru said. âSomething with low stakes, few chances of going wrong. Weâll be sending you to Opportunity Island. A smugglerâs den, though itâs abandoned at this time of the year. You will tell the Seraphim to destroy it.â
Hina dropped the chip and wiped her hands on her trousers. âHina doesnât like this,â she said. âItâs - it feels wrong.â
âI told you weâd run into this issue,â Tsuru told Kizaru.
âThe age-old problem, isnât it?â Kizaru said. âThose who can be trusted to wield this kind of power donât want it. Whatâs wrong, Rear Admiral?â
The Seraphim inspected Hina, some with curiosity and some with indifference. âTheyâre too much like real children,â she admitted.
âGiving them the likeness of people was a bad idea,â Kizaru said, still staring off into space. âGlue some eyes on a rock and people will give it a name. Make your weapons look like children and people will want to braid their hair and buy them candy. But what can we do about it, hmm? The die has been cast. We need your help, Rear Admiral. What will happen if she doesnât help us, Tsuru?â
âIf good people refuse the job, bad people will end up doing it,â Tsuru muttered. At once, Hina understood that this was the argument that had convinced her.
âBe kind,â Kizaru said. âTreat them like people, if you must. Itâs not so different from ordering cadets, isnât it?â

Finally found out where K8-T3 is getting her weird music: DMRN 113.8
That's right. Our "friend" Poe Dameron, being part of the Resistance and not having much to. . . uh. . . resist at the moment, appears to have created a pirate radio station to occupy his time. Which Katie has found.
You know I would never put a restraining bolt on a droid unless it was required by extreme circumstances, but I'm heavily considering putting parental controls on the radio.

Security Breach fic ideas
Restraining bolt 16.1.22 Monty doesn't like Freddy. Until he does. Monty made a lot of assumptions about Freddy and his personality, then he finds out Freddy is forced to wear a restraining bolt and beneath the gut-wrenching horror he realizes just how wrong he was. Then he ends up learning things about their company's history he never knew. Freddy is being abused by the Fazbear employees and knows there are plans to scrap him. He's still associated with the old (murderous) face of Fazbear, after all.
Monty gets locked in his room 17.1.22 Gregory & Monty. Monty has cleithrophobia (fear of being trapped). He has a panic attack and Chica has to calm him down through the wall. This happens basically every night. Monty gets locked up because "he causes too much damage" but a large part of why his room is so torn up is because he's completly freaking out. The techs/employees do not care how much they're traumatizing him. (The other animatronics are programmed to not help him get out of his room.) Gregory lets Monty out.
Slave homunculi AU 18.1.22 Fnaf: Security Breach. Monty & Freddy. The animatronics are magically created and enslaved homunculi. Freddy is treated worse than the others.
Quirk AU 18.1.22 Fnaf: Security Breach. The "animatronics" are Heroes and slaves of the Hero Commission (ah yes, even more slavery in my AUs). They are all incredibly affection starved and touch-starved. Monty has been sent to work undercover as a villain so he doesn't even get the [adoring love] of the public the way the rest of the band do. When Gregory (street kid) hugs him/says he's a fan he near completely breaks down. Insp refs: [link1] [link2]
Another restraining bolt idea 18.1.22 Fnaf: Security Breach. Post-game. Monty is the one given a restraining bolt to limit his actions. The other animatronics are horrified when they find out.
Non-animatronic AU 18.1.22 Fnaf: Security Breach. The animatronics are anthros instead of robots, but they're still members of a slave race and owned and used by Fazbear Entertainment. Yeah it's another slave AU. But I mean when you've got sentient animatronics that's just kinda canon. Anyway. Just an excuse for me to write kinda-specific flesh-and-blood Monty angst.
Day (231/100) in my #âdaysofwriting @the-wip-project One of these days I will remember I can tag from this device so long as I do it before I @ a blog. Edit: I have now tagged it, and this is the first post in ages I havenât put #fix tags later on.Â

prompt: âRestraining Boltâ + Wrightworth

sooo âCase 2-4: Farewell My Turnaboutâ absolutely slaps?? when was somebody gonna tell me? luckily, my husband, who has been playing through the original AA trilogy with me, has a giant-ass brain and so we figured out what to do with the only BTH Bingo prompt that had yet to be requested
enjoy a dramatic reading of Case 2-4...from Edgeworthâs POVÂ

So Heavy [Read on AO3]

There is, admittedly, several yearsâ worth of a gap in Edgeworthâs knowledge of Phoenix Wright but even so, there is nothing that can explain the brazen manâs even more brazen behavior on the other side of the courtroom.
Wright acts and speaks in a way true to his name: like a man on fire. His moments of cool composure are few and far in-between. He has always been something of a force of nature, but now, he is a wildfire. There is burning desperation in him in every biting word as he reaches for any scrap of kindle he can get his hands on.
The Edgeworth of a year ago, admittedly, would have written his behavior off with a shrug and condescending tsk.
But the Edgeworth nowâsomehow, the same Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth who self-purportedly chose deathâhas in the same day, dragged a shot Franziska von Karma to the hospital, taken her place in the prosecutorâs stand, and come to the very alarming conclusion that while the verdict of Matt Engardeâs guilt in the murder of Juan Corrida should be cut-and-dry, somehow, thanks to Wrightâs wild back-and-forth, it is everything but.
He cannot believe the morning has dragged out as long as it has.
Ordered a new voice chip for the Laundry Droid from the Space Station Depot today. They said I could get free shipping if I spent 30 more credits on my order, so I also ordered him a restraining bolt.
Now, I'm firmly opposed to the use of restraining bolts, so I won't be putting it on him. However, I will be framing it and hanging it on the laundry room wall. So he can look at it every day. And think about how he should appreciate me, because any other service technician might not value his freedom as much as I do. And maybe he'll be a bit nicer if he wants to keep me around.
I was watching The Weird Al Show on Hulu and discovered a 90s alt-rock band that I absolutely should have heard of before today but somehow hadnât.
Thank god I live in an era where it doesnât take any effort at all to acquire music from a band that was never especially well-known and broke up almost 2 decades ago.
