+ - Typically, Andante is always aware of her surroundings, perhaps a little too aware ( you try relaxing and enjoying the world around you when you're expecting an attack at any moment ). But this time, she's caught unawares, a rare occurrence, and one that might have meant a fatal wound, if someone else hadn't been looking out at that moment.
There's the sensation of heat, crackling electricity, the sound of a demon's growl, and in that moment Andante realized she had been careless. This time though, she wasn't punished, although the method of her salvation did catch her by surprise. Hands pressed into her back and shoved her out of the way, causing the demon's blow to catch harmlessly in the air where she had just been standing. A split second later and that same demon is eviscerated, left in a smoking pile of ash.
The nephilim stumbled, nearly losing her balance and falling to the ground, but managing to recollect herself, and turned to face her savior. " T- Thank God you were there... "
