Thistlejump - orange and black tortie shecat

Family: Duckpaddle (father), Webfoot (mother), Thornstep (brother), Snareleap (younger brother), Brackenfang (younger brother), Squirrelkit (niece), Shrewkit (niece) Gender / Sexuality: she cat / gay Personality: cautious, careful, evaluating, always watching surroundings  Backstory: Thistlejump had been a young warrior when she was asked if she wanted to become a Response Warrior, Dewbreeze was looking to retire. Thistlejump was eager at the opportunity and took the title with pride. When she was given Snarepaw, her brother from the parents younger litter, she was excited. Snarepaw had so much potential. So much so that he became a fourth response warrior, no need for anyone to retire for him to get his position.  Now not the youngest response warrior, Thistlejump is known for her safety measures. When a fox is spotted near camp she gets working on patching up holes in the camp walls. When a flood happens she knows exactly who to move where so everyone stays safe. She always knows where to try for prey during leafbare, and is a very good organizer.  Ideal Partner: main mentor in camp who likes training apprentices with her, a tom who would 100% be a stay at home dad for her, the older apprentice with heart eyes for her, someone who wants to be a response warrior  Position | Clan: Response Warrior | Brookclan

Snareleap - small pale orange and black tortie tom

Family: Duckpaddle (father), Webfoot (mother), Thornstep (older brother), Thistlejump (older sister), Brackenfang (brother), Squirrelkit (niece), Shrewkit (niece) Gender / Sexuality: Tom / bisexual  Personality: kit genius, underdog,  Backstory: Best friends with Laurelspring, Snareleap trained side by side with him, and made the recommendation to bring in Laurelspring when Duckstar became leader. Snareleap was a skilled fighter even as a kit, so it was no surprise he became a response warrior when he gained his warrior name. Training under his older sister who was a response warrior, he added to the original four, instead of replacing someone, thats how strong of a fighter he was.  An incredibly intelligent fighter, Snareleap admired other clans styles. He became a very smart warrior, using other warriors skills as their downfalls. He’s a very good climber and jumper as well, thanks to his strong swimming legs. Being pushed into an older social group at a young age, Snareleap does have some difficultly talking to younger cats, especially ones he likes. He can be a little awkward and flustered, skill on the battle field meaning nothing when flirting. Ideal Partner: someone who thinks hes just adorable, someone who knows hes strong and likes that, current apprentice of his sister who has heart eyes for her predecessor, fellow response warrior, child of a response warrior/deputy/leader  Position | Clan: Response Warrior | Brookclan

Family: Silverthroat (father), Sootstride (mother), Crowtail (brother), Ratfang (sister), Vultureswoop (sister), Mothpaw (niece) Gender / Sexuality: Tom / bisexual Personality: honest, appreciative, truly just is “doing the right thing”, fireman type vibe Backstory: With his dark thick pent, Batwing was a keen hunter and stalker in the Smokeclan forest. Trained by Shadowstalker, Batwing has been known to follow even the most sensitive of prey without being detected. A skilled hunter thanks to his dark pelt and careful paws, Batwing is often leading hunting parties in Smokeclan.  Now, with an apprentice destined for response warrior future, Batwing is excited to pass on his skills. Mothpaw is often attached to Batwing, so expect to have to get rid of the apprentice if you want some alone time. Ideal Partner: the bad ass fighter, the sweet medicine cat, the queen who had her kits saved by Batwing, his apprentices sibling Position | Clan: Response Warrior | Smokeclan

Goldenflame - long haired vibrant orange tabby tom with white undercoat

Family: Rootfall (father), Lionpurr (mother, deceased), Firestride (brother) Gender / Sexuality:  Tom / pansexual  Personality: everyones favorite dad friend, super helpful, protective, wants you to stay safe, stand behind me type Backstory: Goldenflame was recruited by his mother to become a response warrior, becoming one of the front line fighters for the clan. When there’s a fox, or badger, Goldenflame is on the scene. He’s got big paws, and thick claws, with a thick pelt too. Goldenflame is a beast of a warrior, and few would want to go up against him. Even his own clanmates can look dwarved compared to him.  When Goldenflame’s mother died, he really stepped up, taking over some of her response duties, like encouraging young warriors to continue their education, and helping train apprentices.  Goldenflame is everyones favorite dad friend. He’s always happy to help out, and is willing to spar with anyone who wants to spar with him. He’s a big sweetheart too, still getting flustered when people thank him or compliment him. He’s not the best with kits, but he’s working on it because he wants his own someday soon. Ideal Partner: someone who can give him kits, a single parent looking for help, the head mentor, the head hunter, a queen looking for her next litter Position | Clan: Response Warrior | Whisperclan

Berryhunter - fluffy calico tabby tom

Family: Pineclaw (father, deceased), Ochreleaf (mother), Blossomfall (brother) Gender / Sexuality: Tom / bisexual  Personality: hopeful, awkward, newbie on the block, young warrior surrounded by senior warriors  Backstory: Berryhunter was trained by his great uncle to take his position as a response warrior so Burnetbranch could retire. Burnetbranch was an incredible mentor and it’s no surprise Berry’s assessment assured he was perfect for the task.  Young Berryhunter is the forests best hunter. Able to track from one side of the forest to the other, he’s often asked for help tracking down missing cats. He is a young Tom surrounded by a lot of older warriors, since most response warriors are in that position until they retire. Berryhunter loves spending free time hunting, always having fruitful trips. He will often offer to take apprentices out if they aren’t busy, wanting to give tips where he can. He’s often asked to assist the medicine cat, as he is a very skillful forager too.  Ideal Partner: a young warrior who admires the response team, the child of a senior response warrior hoping to take their parents position, and work along side Berry, a young cat who had been taken that Berry tracked down and saved, the medicine cat apprentice who has a crush on him  Position | Clan: Response Warrior | Whisperclan

Family:  Cloudswipe (father), Dustpelt (mother), Fluffyheart (sister), Quickpaw (nephew) Gender / Sexuality: Tom / bisexual - newly out  Personality: young handsome bachelor, brave, strong, capable, fluff ball, soft big brother Backstory: Incredible hunter and fighter,  Cottonbreeze was asked to take a promotion after he began training his nephew Quickpaw. Now the warrior balances his time as a response warrior and being a good mentor. He’s dedicated to his life though, and does a well job managing both sides. He’s a strong warrior who has always been skilled in his hunting and fighting. Often one to go on patrols, the dawn patrols are Cottonbreeze’s favorite.  When Cottonbreeze isnt on patrol, or with Quickpaw, he’s out hunting. He loves the thrill of the chase, and being able to provide for the clan. He will of course take any chance he can to practice his skills for when he is called upon to respond to an emergency.  Ideal Partner: another response team warrior, Quickpaws denmate who has a crush on him, the warrior who recommended cotton for the response team cuz they wanna make moves Position | Clan: Response Warrior | Thrushclan

Family: Whitefoot (mother), Palecloud (sister) Gender / Sexuality: Tom / bisexual Personality: the student, social, chatty, quick to praise, honest Backstory: Rushwhisker was always the apprentice excited for training. He wore out his mentor, often to the point his mentor would ask others to take him out for the day. When Rushwhisker got his warrior name, he went under the wing of Articstorm, learning about becoming a mentor response warrior. He learned about how to treat apprentices, how to help guide mentors to success, and how to play to cats strengths and weaknesses. Now having taken his mentees place, Articstorm passed on, leaving Rushwhisker as the response warrior.  Rushwhisker loves his job. He loves helping the apprentices, helping the mentor, giving the deputy suggestions on pairing to produce the most rewarding patrols. Rushwhisker is living his dream. He always feels like he can keep learning, and utilizing his visibility of training sessions to keep his skills sharp. Ideal Partner: a senior mentor who thinks Rushwhisker is adorable, the apprentice with heart eyes for Rush, a top mentor who recently got a new apprentice and rush has a huge crush on Position | Clan: Response Warrior | Frostclan

Family: Jackdawhum (father), Sleekmane (uncle), Jayflight (mother), Bluefeather (sister) Gender / Sexuality: tom / gay  Personality: soft, gentle, confident, alert Backstory: Echolight was chosen to be a response warrior during his apprenticeship. When he took his trip to the Crystal Caves, he was offered the opportunity to go inside. Echolight is one of the few cats not a leader or medicine cat who shares dreams with Starclan. He is chosen for his warm heart and the way he can instill confidence in others. Able to calm down a panicked group, or gain the attention of a rowdy crowd, Echolight is often the response warrior soothing a queen when her kits go missing, or assuring a worried starving clan that Starclan will melt the ice on the water.  Echolight is still a skilled hunter and fighter, though most of his skills are on the hunting side. A great fisher, he’s fast and stealthy, which is the reason he can handle himself in battle well, though he has never come close to taking a life. Ideal Partner: the battle worn response warrior who loves coming home to their soft cuddley warm sweet bf, the new response warrior who looks to Echo with admiration, the newly made medicine cat who isn’t good at calming down their patients but Echo is Position | Clan: Response Warrior | Brookclan 

Beaverfur - sleek brown shecat with dark points and yellow eyes

Family: Mudstep (father), Brownpuddle (mother), Pikesplash (brother) Gender / Sexuality: she-cat / bisexual  Personality: responsive, good listener, good advice giver, smart, can be focused and on task no matter what emotions get in the way  Backstory: Beaverfur was a strong apprentice, earning herself a warrior name, and a title of Response Warrior. Each clan has three to five Response warriors, in charge of responding to emergency situations in any part of the forest, though mostly in their own territory. If a kit goes missing they are called, if a fire starts in another part of the forest they go to help.  Being a fast runner and strong swimmer, Beaverfur was the obvious choice. All the Response warriors have a schedule so at least two are awake at one time. Beaverfur takes the shift from sun high to dawn. These chosen cats are often seen as heros in the clans, thanks to being there when trouble happens.  Beaverfur has already saved an apprentice from drowning, aided Frostclan in killing a fox, and drove off a badger from their territory. She’s young, and well respected. She’s good at what she does.  Ideal Partner: savior complex, fellow EMT from another clan or shift, someone who got passed up for the position who always tags along  Position | Clan: Response Warrior | Brookclan

Runningleaf - dark brown tabby tom with gold eyes

Family: Nettlestar (deceased, maternal grandmother), Russetfur (father), Applebloom (mother), Brightpaw (brother, dead) Gender / Sexuality:  Tom / gay Personality: good dad type, best friend, capable, likes to help out, likes fetching things for people, good runner type guy Backstory: Runningleaf was an apprentice when a family of foxes attacked camp. He was tasked with protecting the nursery and managed to keep six kits and two queens safe and calm during the panic of the attack while the warriors chased and killed the foxes who attacked. Unfortunately, Runningleaf’s brother Brightpaw had been killed in the attack. From then, Runningleaf has been the soothing warrior before he was even asked to officially become a response warrior. Best friends with medicine cat Lionpounce, Runningleaf is good at helping his friend keep patients calm during trauma, and always knows how to keep cats relaxed during a crisis.  Along with Berryhunter, Runningleaf is a skilled tracker as well, and will often be taking small groups out hunting when he has the time, though most of his time is spent in the nursery helping out kits and queens. Usually if a queen wants something, she will ask Runningleaf to fetch it for her.  Ideal Partner: a young queen who appreciates the help, the medicine cat apprentice who admires his capabilities, the would have been mate of Brightpaw Position | Clan: Response Warrior | Whisperclan
