            the energy he usually had was near none . . . the smile he has on his lips just barely reaches his eyes as he greets the female  .  he’s tired  .  not a satisfying tired  ,  he’s exhausted  .  but  ,  he promised to meet setsuka  ,  he can’t just ditch at the last minute over some stupid  ,  minor thing . . . it’s stupid  .  it’s in the past  ,  stop thinking about it  .  move on  .  they’ve moved on  ,  so should he  .             “  did you eat  ??  ”  he asks  ,  tone lacking it’s usual luster  .  “  the sandwiches here are really good  ,  if you don’t know what to get  ,  their sampler platter gives you a bit of everything  ,  ”  he said  ,  a good sign he’s avoiding the topic already  .  he talks too much and about the insignificant things like food being offered on the menu . . .

“An odd individual who seemed more knowledgeable than most in Inaba. It was rather impressive to see a person who owned a brain cell.”

"You can sit down if you want. I thought I'd make something like a...picnic, for people." he shrugs, looking around himself at the empty space again, "Didn't work. Have a lot of food to spare." Wulf was already, frankly, very full.

He opens his arms welcoming both of them. Although, he does feel a bit a lot uncomfortable. “Did you finish torturing Toni?” he might have been a bit jealous that he wasn’t getting any hugs till now though.

     “If I tell you, you wouldn’t try it!” Ayane answers, rather mischievously. She’s gotten pretty good at cooking for herself and other people, now that she’s got no one to do it for her anymore. She tries not to think about that too much, it was a mental wormhole she could never crawl out of. If she hadn’t felt orphaned before, she definitely felt it now. Today, she’s poured in some frozen left-overs from the weekend’s lasagna into noodles and spiced it up with more sauce and vegetables. All it was missing now was a healthy dunk of ice cream on top, but she spares Setsuka of that fate. “There’s no fish though, promise--”, as though her aversion to fish wasn’t already a well-known fact between the two of them. “Should I blow on it a bit so it’s cooled down enough?”     /     @resplendentice  

“Ey,” She jerks her chin towards the other, vaguely gesturing at their general person. Broken dialect chopped its way, indicating that this was not her maiden tongue. “You there. Is a spirit, yes? umoya?”
