Tammi’s start on life was not great; in fact, it was so terrible that she was seized by the shelter’s humane officers from her former residence after she was abandoned there along with a Chihuahua brother that has since been adopted. Whatever they endured, they survived together and Tammi is a survivor who is feeling much better about the world around her and herself every day. She is initially shy but with a little patience and some TLC, she warms up to others. She does excellent on the leash and does not require much exercise other than daily walks. She does not know how to play with toys but she does enjoy treats and strolls around the park. After we received the MRI results and his diagnosis we now know that we can help Neko :) This is great news! We previously thought he had degenerative myelopathy. He does not.  He has intervertebral disc disease Hansen type 2.  This can be corrected with surgery.  We're presently raising funds  to get our boy walking normally again. Please help if you can!
