What’s up with this, rescues?
I’m just looking around at chinese crested rescues in particular, ‘cause I’ve been crying for over a day straight about luna and idk it might make me feel better to bookmark good ones for later, and like the requirements so far for some???
- You cannot have more than two dogs
- No children under the age of six
- You must have a fence
- You must have a yard
- You must live in this area only, even if you’re willing to drive
- Home checks 100% required
- You must have a collar and id tag for them when you pick them up
- You must have a harness when you pick up your dog
- You must be 21-25 years of age to adopt
- Dog cannot be crated for more than 6 hours at a time
- Never let your dog off leash, even in its own yard
- We do not adopt to those with dog doors installed in their home
- You can only feed them the highest quality of foods approved by us
- We are granted the right to take back your dog at any time, without explanation or refund {EXCUSE ME????}
- We will match dogs to you, you cannot suggest them
- All pets must be altered, canine or otherwise
- You must have secure income
And then there’s the ones that are so willing just to get their dogs into homes. I actually saw one that does virtual home visits over skype or facetime and I really love that concept.
I get that they want the best for their dogs, hell I’d probably be the same way, but some rescues need to take it down a notch. Looks like I’ll just consider breeders in the future lol
