I'd like to think they're both huge freaks, just in different directions.

Res AU Joronia drawings. Character rambling and bonus doodles under cut.

The basic idea is that as Kirby and co. are returning from the New World post-Forgotten Land, they start to get reports of people coming back from the dead!

The Characters:

She's trying make it up to everybody she's hurt, especially Taranza, which is going to be a long and arduous process for her. She's determined to try and make things right, though.

In his search for ancient knowledge, Void enlists the help of Magolor, who's agreed to help him out and house him in exchange for a little help with his theme park.

Elfilin's staying with Kirby in Dream Land while he recuperates from everything. Much to his chagrin, Fecto Forgo is staying in Elfilin's head. These two have to figure everything out between them while adjusting to "normal" life.

Other characters are also relevant, of course.

This AU's nowhere close to being fully fleshed out. I've got bullet points for the main plot, but that's about it for now. I'll develop it more eventually. In the meantime, please feel free to send me questions or thoughts you have about this!

Resurrection AU: Joronia

Upon coming back from the dead, Joronia is currently staying with Taranza, the only person in Dream Land she knows. She is sleeping on his couch in his small home in Dream Land.

She remembers everything she felt and did while corrupted, which she feels terrible about. She's taking the initiative to find everyone she's personally wronged and make it up to them however she's able, which will be very difficult and embarrassing for her.

Joronia is energetic and driven, but a bit haughty. She's struggling to adjust to the life of a relative commoner, having been raised in a palace with every need of hers met. Joronia's very outgoing, but she struggles at connecting with other people.

Her biggest worry is about her friendship with Taranza, and whether it can be repaired after everything she's done.

Resurrection AU: Void

In this AU, Void has been reincarnated as a little white puffball. He has no memory of his life before he was sealed away by the Heroes of Yore.

His main goal is to figure out who he actually was in his previous life. Aiding in this effort is Magolor, who's agreed to help in exchange for some assistance with his theme park work. He happens to be working on an ancient history-themed area, and could use a hand in the research process.

Personality-wise, Void is driven and has a no-nonsense attitude. He's not super thrilled about all this silly wizard theme park nonsense, but will do what it takes to get what he wants. He has a tendency to overwork himself. He doesn't seem to have retained any powers from his time as Void Termina.

Resurrection AU: Elfilin

At present, Elfilin is staying in Dream Land with Kirby, who'd like to help him recover from all the stuff he just went through.

Now that he's no longer in constant danger, Elfilin's not quite sure what to do. He wants to move on with his life and feel normal, but how? What is feeling normal?

Elfilin is outgoing and excited to make new friends in Dream Land. Still, he finds himself a little overwhelmed by some of the big personalities he encounters. He has no problems asking for help, which he'll need to do to figure himself out.

There's one thing throwing a wrench into his plans, which is the presence of:

Resurrection AU: Fecto Forgo

After choosing to be with Elfilin at the end of KatFL, Fecto Forgo takes the form of a separate consciousness in Elfilin's mind. Only he can see and hear it.

While this is the good part of Forgo, it's still somewhat bitter about everything that happened to it, and excited to move forward from that. Like Elfilin, it wants to move on from its past. It's fascinated and a little anxious about the world, which it's getting to properly see for the first time.

Forgo speaks in a fragmented way and is very blunt, stating exactly how it feels. It's very introverted, but is still sometimes frustrated that it's limited to talking with Elfilin, wishing it were more independent. It struggles understanding the perspectives of others.

Needless to say, they get on each others' nerves some.

Now that these two are reunited, it seems like Elfilin might have some new powers, which is a big change for him. Maybe Forgo can help him figure them out?
