Our Dear Gingko croaking!
Sorry everyone,
I've been working a lot lately and editing photos like crazy, I promise I will be back soon!
reptiglo replied to your photo “So I said fuck it and I’m setting up the mouse cage with the shitty...”
Is the top of that made out of wood? What a weird little tank!
No, it's plastic but it's made to look like oak! It's an old ass tank. They still make oak trim but it's fallen out of fashion.

I'm not sure if I can ask/say this here but your tanks are absolutely gorgeous and I wish I could have beautiful tanks like yours; I'm extremely jealous of your skills <3
Whaaaaaaaat WHAAAAAT YOU HAVE THE BEST PLANTED VIVS HOW COULD YOU BE ENVIOUS
Your blog/vivs have me reeeeeally reeeaaaaaally wanting to make one of my crestie tanks into a planted viv! In fact, for my birthday it was either do a totally planted viv or redo my 20gal. My 20gal won out but it's still on my to-do list.
Thank you very much, regardless! :D
I heard you were talkin' shit

Possibly unpopular opinion?
I personally think it's a horrible idea to bring your reptiles with you in the car. I don't mean when you have to take them to the vet or move them and you have them in a secured carrier, I mean when you just let them roam in the car while you're driving and you take 'cute' photos of them around the steering wheel, sitting on your dashboard, trying to get out a window, etc.
I think this is a horrible idea for several reasons and I don't really understand the point of doing it at all? I mean, what are you or the animal really getting out of it?
If you get in an accident and they aren't in a secured carrier, what do they have to hold onto? Nothing. They're going flying right into that window or the back of the seat which is most likely going to be a fatal accident. Also, I don't know about you guys but I would be pretty distracted driving with one of my snakes free roaming the car. I'd be constantly watching him/her and my focus wouldn't 100% be on the road or my surroundings.
Vehicles are in no way a good environment for a reptile to be in and I personally think they should be left at home in their safe, climate controlled habitats...but that's my opinion.
What do you think?
