Hi! Frankly, I haven’t given it much thought - I scan them like everything else and then edit in PS. If the paper is warped, I put sth heavy on top of it to flatten the image (the lazy way) and minimize the grey areas after. If the illustration is scanned in parts, I merge them manually, erasing and stamping here and there. The editing is mostly enhancing/ leveling up colors and changing the hues to get it closest to the original. And that’s it! Nothing fancy, but maybe will be of some help :)
