"Hello! And yeah? Anything fancy or interesting, on the baking side?" Samus looks about, wondering how busy Miq's been with that. Doesn't smell like the oven's been on, today, but sweets last a while. "I don't need anything, if you're running low, but I did like that batch of stuff, last time you visited."
It's definitely a quiet day for her, with no heat in the kitchen or so, but yeah. Sweets last a while, so that should be fine! However, it is very toasty in here and Miq is in as loose and breathable clothing as possible without just being naked. Her sweating already is plenty to show that.
"Uhhh, did I ever bring you any of the cookies my girlfriend and I made? And no worries, everyone loved those candies so I always keep a bag of two on hand, just in case~.", she asks as she goes to look through some tubs in the fridge. "Sunflower seed butter cookies! They are green~." A baggie of those and a baggie of more apricot candies, handed to Samus, to snack on at her own pace as Miq goes to close stuff back up after grabbing some for herself.
She motions for Samus to follow her to the couch as she starts munching on the chilled candies happily. "Ahhh, that hits the spot on a hot day like this. I thought the recent rain would bring the temperature down more, but I guess not..." Pomph!

"Kataw ili gelsu les atamahar umi~" Samus laughs, tapping her own temple. "You're right to think that way. Everyone expresses themselves in different ways and intensities.."
It seems Miq perks up the tone of Samus' chozo, getting a good idea of what she probably meant. Body language helps, too.
"Mmm, yeah. And if it's something we're both comfortable with and we aren't hurting each other or anyone else? Then what's it matter~?" Miq beams.
"Also, hello there, properly! I wasn't expecting you to drop in, so I don't have too many snacks to share. Not none, just not as much as usual?" Miq chuckles sheepishly, even as she settles back in cozily. "I've been trying more candy and baking, though!"

Oh gosh I knoooooow! THANKFULLY he grew out of it more or less, and matured enough that Arya no longer felt like she was being pursued by a Literal Child™, but regardless, I cannot ship them anymore after recently rereading the series. The Eldest just, straight-up murdered that ship for me. I’m just glad Brisingr and Inheritance saved Eragon as a character for me, because I would have been so mad otherwise.
It’s been ages since I last read the books, but I’m with you! I’m glad the ship didn’t really take off in-canon, honestly. It just really wouldn’t have been healthy.
