oh dang what happened? what are some things to look out for when looking up the 100 cons?

Typically check if the website says who the organizer of the con is. The Boston con lacks any sort of info about this. There’s not even a simple name in their replies to fans via email. They just end them with “Best,”.

Check if the organizer has organized other successful events before.This usually isn’t a problem with the big Comic Cons but with smaller cons that do show focused events it’s worth checking. In the age of social media you can usually find some info, find actual feedback how the cons were or if someone had problems with an organizer before.

If you want to dig deep maybe call the location the con is supposed to be at. This Boston con claims to have booked the ballroom at the Hilton’s in Boston. Several fans called the hotel and while they confirm the event has a number of rooms reserved for the fans with them, their sales department says the actual con is NOT happening there since the location is too small for a convention. Sometimes cons don’t immediately announce the locations which isn’t necessarily a red flag but it might be worth to wait until all the information needed is available.

If I could change anything it would be the narrative addressing Matteo’s mental health. What I mean is at least a hint towards depression for instance by Matteo looking at a poster about depression/mental health in the clip where he is waiting for David in the secretary’s office in episode 10. That’d be the bare minimum. 

I am surprised how quickly they reacted now. It’s midnight here in Germany... XD

My reply: I mainly thought of Zoe and Lola as similiar due to their relationship with alcohol/drugs. As in they either are misusing them or might slip into that if they are not careful. Also now it’s obvious that Zoe has some resentment against her mother. The mother’s behavior made her lose the faith of seeing them all as a family. We don’t know Zoe as well as Lola for obvious reasons but they definitely have more in common than Nora and Lola do. I don’t agree at all that Nora and Lola are similiar. Lola might be a bit introvertet but in general they give me completely different vibes. Lola seemed desillusioned by everyone and everything early in her season. Lola’s ways of escapism were drugs, alcohol and hooking up with people. Nora has some faith that her mother is doing better, will be doing better. She sees her family as a family still. Her escapism is exploring street art in Berlin and chilling on that rooftop she found.

I am not sure if Zoe and Lola would get along or not. They might, they might not.They might have fun at a party but I am not sure there would be enough to become actual friends. 

Hope this made sense and explained why I see Zoe and Lola as more alike than Nora and Lola.

8. Do you have anything in common with Matteo?

We both love to drape our bodies all over couches, chairs and more. I identify a lot with his pretty introvert persona. I sometimes just have to zone out of conversations and parties. Being around a bunch of people is exhausting to me after a certain point.

9. Has Matteo and his season impacted your life in any way?

Maybe not just Matteo’s season specifically but DRUCK as a whole encouraged me to watch more German TV and movies. I was pretty against it all before. DRUCK (and Dark) though changed my mind a bit.
