For whatever the reason people are so obsessed with impressing you they never allow the real person they are, have an opportunity to meet you. They keep themselves so guarded, that they never truly open up to you unconditionally, or in a way that truly matters. To me if I can't feel your heart, study your mind, touch your soul, spirit, and then Your body I don't want or need you.
