I know this might sound easier than it actually is, if you are suffering from deep depression and anxiety issues. When you are consumed by stressful negative thoughts, you may find yourself dwelling on what has happened. It over takes your thinking so much you leave no room for anything els. In fact your not even trying to think of anything else because your negative stress has overtook your thought process. However rest assured you are in CONTROL of your thoughts and here is some tips to switch your thinking. * use Affirmations *keep a gratitude journal * Focus on your strengths * meditation * yoga * surround yourself with positive people * change negative thoughts to positive * don’t play the victim take responsibility * help someone else *sing *remember no one is perfect learn from mistakes and move forward * oh and smile it really helps change your mood and relieve stress. Plus guess what it takes fewer muscles to smile than to frown. 😁 Remember your negative thoughts are just thoughts, it does not mean they are true. I’m not saying to ignore them just acknowledge them but only give them the attention they deserve. If it’s a negative thought you don’t have to analyse your nasty critical thoughts you just let them know they are not true they are just thoughts and say “I am good enough” and then ignore it for example.
