Replace a Dimmer Switch [ad#block] Electrical Question: I want to replace a dimmer switch with a single throw switch. The dimmer switch has a black & white wire and ground.

I want to replace a dimmer switch with a single throw switch. The dimmer switch has a black & white wire and ground. May I simply install a single pole single throw switch and connect the B & W wires to the switch terminals?
