Studio Brief:ย
Week 11;
This week in our tutorial we were asked to create a repeat pattern in Adobe Illustrator. We were shown how to do it in tutorials, and while i enjoyed the process of knowing how to do it and especially knowing how to do it for future projects, I have decided not to include it in my final packaging design. I had drawn these flowers in my earlier design stages, when I was playing around with the idea of a retro logo and so on. I took a small arrangement of the flowers to repeat.ย
I can see how the arrangement doesnโt fit together as nice as Iโd like and is almost jarring to look at as the pattern doesnโt look in sync. I do enjoy the colour combination though, and have decided to keep the small arrangement of flowers in for my final submission without the repeated pattern. However, by completing this task, and playing around with illustrator, I was able to see how different functions work and especially gaining knowledge for future endeavours.ย
