No problem! Just one of those weird things I know from theatre. :P Extra tip: When you back into the chair, sit before your hoop starts to rise and it should (hopefully!) stay flat against the chair legs.

Ooh, ooh! I actually know because I once had to wear a hoopskirt in A Christmas Carol at SCR. A proper lady slowly backs into the chair, then perches herself on the edge of her seat, lest she show her bloomers! And legs crossed at the ankles. :)
