Studio VI: 2.6: Description/functionality of the artifact.
A solar panel works by allowing photons, or particles of light, to knock electrons free from atoms, generating a flow of electricity. Solar panels smaller units called photovoltaic cells. (Photovoltaic - means they convert sunlight into electricity.) Many cells linked together make up a solar panel.Â
Micro-solar panel used in Lumiere is designed to handle a large capacity of the energy source absorbed by the sun light transferring heat to the biological sample(metal conductive plate) to automatically adjust the voltage with ongoing heat transported to the tube full of bacteria, enhancing the energy source through glucose feeding off a micro-chip with 6 months life cycle, returning the energy to the output for the consumers to plug in their devices to use.
The temperature control for biological sample (mental conductive plate) is connected to the digital thread where the flow of temperature is controlled/adjusted according to the devices handling high or low voltage. The hybrid bacteria in the thermo-mechanical control tube is likely to be producing electrons randomly more than expected through the ultraviolet light, converting to heat, increasing the energy source which becomes highly important to be monitoring this device digitally due to the changing rate of the development of bio-luminescent bacteria’s deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). If this is not monitored through a digital platform of this physical artifact, due to the high or low temperature this is device producing, the external devices plugged in will differ. (If a low capability device is plugged in while this artifact is producing high energy, the external device may blow up, vice-versa.)
The microchip-glucose feeding system for the bacterium maintenance is to be replaced every 6 months for sustainability for the device itself and the consumers. Every chip inserted into this device opens a socket into the tube (full of bacteria) with a thermo-mechanical regulator. This means the device cannot be moved/shifted/tilted or carried around while in use. The chip must be physically disconnected before raising any sort of action towards it for health and safety purposes.
This bio-luminescent concentrator maintains high energy radiation overall which means it allows the heat flow in the system to transform into electron (useable power). Further developed as a wireless system in the future), while the metal conductive plate recognises the heat in the bio-luminescent concentrator, the electrons will flow like any other source of electricity which is why it is very important to not stay in contact with this artifact when in use.
