When Zedaph heat finally rolls around the hermits find out that Zedaph is extremely docile during it, almost always nuzzling into one of the larger members of the server (usually Doc Impulse Or Stress). However he also seems beyond terrified or horribly attracted to Ren, No one can quite tell
Zed has never been very sex motivated, and even in his heats spends most of his time cozying up with others once his needs are taken care of. It's not uncommon for Impulse to have Zed hanging off his back whilst he works. Or for Stress to to curl up with him in a big blanket fort and read aloud. Or Doc to talk redstone nonsense at him until he falls asleep.
Ren though... Zed prides himself on being in control of his instincts. But something about his heat makes them impossible to deal with. And something about Ren terrifies him. But at the same time... He thinks he's kind of into that? It's confusing. If he ever gets over it, he's sure they'd have a great time! Just. Maybe next heat.

they meet while docs cleaning up the perimeter and ren falls in love with how dutiful zed is. wrangling all these sheep like its nothing! zed likes that ren is super Tough and Scary around the sheep and wishes he could be like him
and then zedaph decides to blow everyones eardrums up with his cacophony and ren, completely on a whim, helps him build a shop
and zedaph is so funny. he’ll joke around while ren does all the work of prettying the place up, and zed can see how dedicated ren is to what he builds and ren thinks that zed has the funniest jokes
later zedaph makes the cacophony and when they play it- well. ren thinks it’s beautiful for a moment. it was made by zed after all, with love and care and contempt for general music. he loves it. sometimes ren turns it on just to get zedaph down there
they have their first kiss in a well-music’d area. it’s not raucous or noisy or distracting. it’s a country song they’ll both forget when it’s done. zedaph is enjoying a sandwich - ren doesn’t even want to know what it’s made of - when suddenly zedaph yelps and pulls him into a hug. a creeper explodes harmlessly behind.

When Ren learned there was another were in town, he was so thrilled! Sure, they were a weresheep, not a werewolf, but still, FRIEND! (He has no idea why Zedaph is scared of him, but he’ll win him over one day.)
First ask from ✨ since the blog got under new ownership! So here we go
Since Ren was “repaired” by someone who is WAYYY unqualified to do so, there are a lot of issues with his cybernetic parts. First, he can’t eat normal food since his digestive system wasn’t fixable, second, sometimes random parts of him just fall off (which causes a very traumatic experience for anyone who sees it) and some of his body parts even lock together. After weeks of traveling in the van with this agony, they finally encountered someone who was qualified enough to make his cybernetic body inhabitable, that person being Zedaph.
Maybe he was still a little woozy, but he clearly remembers giving zed a ‘thank you’ kiss while he was recovering.

Zed didn’t even mind the kiss, it’s just he ended up getting kissed when he was covered in oil. It had took weeks for everything to get fixed correctly and even then Zed still had to do maintenance work on Ren because of how bad he was fixed before he found Zed.
