Rip laughs, the sound a breathy little thing, and then shakes his head as he looks from the diagnostics on the bridge table up into the general direction of the ceiling. “You’ve become far more perceptive since we first started with the rest of the team, did you know that?”
Then again, that’s probably not surprising at all. The Legends feel in a way that Rip never could-- or, perhaps, know what their feelings mean in a way that Rip never could. Gideon’s programmed to learn from the best influences; it’s no wonder she’s become so sensitive, just as the people he’d recruited seem to be.
He’s almost jealous. But that’s not the point.
“...but yes, Gideon. I’m all right.” He straightens, fingers flicking the numbers away on the screen and putting it on standby. “Just... thinking, that’s all. Considering my options.”
And the other Legends are all sleeping, he realises, so maybe...
“Might I trouble you for some advice?” His nose crinkles. “Hmm. Even if the problem itself sounds fairly stupid.”
