Did you know that during World War II the convent which houses the fresco of Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper was bombed. Within months after da Vinci painted the fresco colors and oils began to deteriorate and this painting has been consistently restored for the past few centuries. While the painting was luckily covered by sandbags during the bombing in WWII, most of what remained of the original deteriorated and what we see today is essentially a completely different reworking of da Vinci's master piece.

It's going to be a DOOZY to make but if I pull it off like I want...I'll be SO HAPPY!
