The two main goals I decided to achieve first were:

Furnish all the residents' houses with the required furniture, as if I were playing The Sims 2 and the characters had needs + optionally add furniture that roughly matches the characters' interests or that the characters had previously shown an interest in in the game;

Achieve a skew of two out of six interests and move two Uber Sims into the town + maintain the maximum interest scores at 100%.

An additional requirement I set for myself was that if there were any family connections (like Shirley and Ms. Nicole Vogue for example) or characters that made cameos in The Sims 4 together, I would move them all in. However, due to lot limits, there weren't enough spaces for all the characters, and some existing characters had to be evicted. I'm wondering if there's a mod for moving multiple Sims into a city? I clearly remember someone working on it.

I based my choice of main interests more on my character's aspirations in The Sims 2. Rena is a Knowledge sim with predisposition toward to it, despite the fact that the sorcerer's spell changed her aspiration to Popularity (Knowledge became a secondary aspiration). It would have been more logical, of course, to use the interests from The Sims 2 on the character panel as a basis, and I even tried comparing them, but I decided to use them more as a guide for the character herself, determining which characters she would definitely be living with.

The interests and aspirations weren't perfectly matched, but here's what I got:

Pleasure: Fun, Tasty

Family: Cute, Studious

Romance: Cute, Geeky/ Cute, Spooky

Knowledge: Studious, Geeky

Fortune: Spooky, Tasty

Popularity: Fun, Spooky

Grilled Cheese: Tasty, Geeky

Yes, it's weird, honestly. I'm still unsure about some of the choices.

So far, Rena-chan has befriended Star among the UberSims, and Maria, Rhonda, Clara Belle, Travis, Jenny, Liberty, and Buddy The Bellhop among the locals. At least, except Buddy and Clara Belle, they came to visit Rena-chan when she was sleeping or resting in the bathroom.

But Clara Belle played robot battles with her at Alexa's house. She even beat Rena-chan twice, causing her to be sweetly angry about losing.

Chef Gino, Chef Watanabe, Polly, Shirley, Dr. F, Alexa, Gordon, Patrick, Roxie Road, Ms. Nicole, Natalia, Professor Nova, Master Aran, Sir Vincent, and Vic Vector had their requests fulfilled. Mayor Rosalyn's requests were part of the game's beginning, but Rena-chan hasn't had time to furnish the interior of the town hall building yet.

Patrick, Gordon, Aron, and Raven had to be evicted due to a lack of space in the city, even though they are very interesting characters. That's really sad. Gordon and Patrick even criticized Rena-chan for not having a bed in their house, they need to be here 😄

Other characters, who live here, is Summer, Jimmy, Makoto, Violet and Ray.

Poor Buddy has been through so much at the hotel — there's a fights among the new arrivals every day (not always, but I often see some of them fighting with each other). As I understand it, this is because the characters have conflicting interests.

But these scenes were so surreal that Rena became friends with Buddy and began supporting him during difficult times. She even brought him some furniture.
