I mean i really like… Maybe Roman and Remus are twins and both the heir to the throne, but they don’t know how their father will pick to take over when the time comes. So they both have to act and train as though they will become king one day. One day they hear word of a monster spotted on the edge of the kingdom, both heading off to go find it, knowing that that would look really good on them to be the one who slayed the creature. Needless to say that Remus finds Emile, a huge scary looking creature just hiding on the outskirts of the kingdom and trying to live his life. Remus talk to him, realizes he’s a good bean, a sweetheart.. someone weird he can talk to about weird stuff and doesn’t judge him.When he goes back home, he claims he saw the beast and that it fled… But he starts sneaking out to visit Emile and spend time with him, bring him things and comforts.. Falling for him a bit.One day Roman follows Remus out, and discovers where he’s been. Remus is terrified when he realizes his brother has found him out, and before Roman can say much of anything, tells Roman that he will step down as one of the crown princes as long as Roman doesn’t tell anyone or hurt Emile.Roman has never seen his brother so sincere and concerned, and how obviously this means so much to him… He softens and agrees, and starts to help his brother see his monster boyfriend… And once a certain crown prince becomes king, helps a certain duke get Emile safely in the castle so he can be protected and happy and safe.
