Uranus turns retrograde at midday today. The Great Instigator entered change-averse Taurus in May for a brief first visit. Uranus will back up and cross into Aries in November for one last wrap-up visit before turning direct in January. Look for Uranus-in-Aries themes from the last seven years (2011 - May 2018) to be active again. There may be news regarding Fukushima as Uranus re-enters Aries because the tsunami happened as Uranus moved into Aries in 2011. Uranus will re-enter Taurus in March 2019 for a seven-year stay.

Uranus turning retrograde makes six - count ‘em, SIX! - planets moving backward currently. Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are all retrograde. You may be feeling like nothing in your life is moving forward this summer. By the end of August, Mercury and Mars will resume forward motion, followed a week later by Saturn. That should help you get projects back on track.

The Moon went void-of-course this morning at 3:54 AM EDT for another all-day stint, finally ending when she enters Cancer tonight at midnight. Once again we have a void-Moon + Mercury-Retrograde day.

As I’ve said before, days like this are an excellent time to work on your tolerations list. “Tolerations” in this case are all those annoying little things that need fixing - like the door that won’t shut properly because it hits the rug, or the lamp with the wonky switch that takes three tries to turn on. These things are a low-level source of stress that we put up with daily, kind of like gnats. They’re not big enough to rise to the top of the to-do list, so they tend to be overlooked until you have to use the thing. Keep a running list of them in your planner, on the fridge, or somewhere handy. Jot down new ones whenever they crop up. Work through the list when Mercury is retrograde, or the Moon is void, or both at the same time. You’ll be amazed at how much better you feel as you rid yourself of these gnats.
