I find it extremely disturbing that girls are taught from when they are young that they shouldn’t walk alone at night or meet strangers online because “it could be someone that wants to rape or kill you”. And that is only because of stereotypes. You see if a guy wants to take a walk at 2am it’s okay because what would happen to a boy right? but if a girl wants to go for a walk at 2am she isn’t allowed because “you could get raped, you never know”. fucking stereotypes I tell ya. maybe if boys where taught when they still were kids that it isn’t okay to rape or sexually assault a woman, maybe it wouldn't fucking happen.
