It's been 2 weeks.
It's been 2 weeks since you've left this earth, 2 of the hardest weeks of my life.
Don't worry though, your girls are being well taken care of. Kurt has been keeping an eye on the house when he's around, he's even shovelled for mom. I've been taking her dinner every night, you can be jealous of that! =P And I'm taking Nana and Boppa home made chicken noodle soup tonight! =)
Jeff has been helping me, giving me ideas to keep your memory alive and as close to me as possible, and mom has been here for me to talk and cry to.
Ashley and I are getting along really well, in fact we have actual conversations for no reason! Can you believe it?
I've been doing okay though, I have my moments where I just bawl my eyes out and snuggle your sweater. It still hurts a bit to look at pictures, but I love all of the memories so much that it doesn't stop me.
I can still hear you saying "I love you too!" when we hung up the phone 2 Thursdays ago, and every time I get sad I just remember that at least that was the last thing we said to each other. I know how much you love me, and I know that you know how much I love you and always will.
Thank you for everything Steve, you're the best "almost Dad" a girl could ever ask for. I love you!
