Aklohi and Relin are a couple who you might initially think aren't well suited to each other. Relin has a sharp tongue and Aklohi is very nervous but through seeing them together you'll notice that they bring out a lot of good aspects of one another. They love each other very much and will protect one another with their very lives if necessary! They try to avoid Humans and are afraid of Starfleet personnel. TW: References to physical abuse and bullying, not in depth They were both bullied heavily as children which has led to them developing intense reactions to perceived confrontation. Relin quickly becomes aggressive, feeling that to back down would be to show weakness and Aklohi quickly agrees with whomever is talking to her, wanting it to be over as soon as possible.

Note: Relin's scars are a sore subject and he tried to cover them in makeup for a time. They were given to him by his Human foster parents whom he hasn't contacted since moving out, being brought into Aklohi's family instead. Aklohi's family have supported him since they were both children, giving him a place to escape to whenever he couldn't bring himself to go home. They gave him the confidence and support necessary for him to be able to be fine with others seeing his scars and he considers them his family as well. Currently, Aklohi and Relin are considering having a child - though they're nervous about it and not quite ready yet. It's honestly exciting just being at a stage where they can even think about it.
