The Wall that Stands between Religion and Science
The book dives into the depths of what it takes to save our crumbling world for a chance to leave something good for the future generations. Unlike most rallies that make up the greenhouse effect or explaining methods of controlling pollution, Divine Principles brings to light something deeper in terms of body, soul, and mind. It talks about what the title says – the principles of divinity. Notwithstanding, it is neither sententious nor vexing. The very idea of its existence is coupled with the aid of scientific methods and solid arguments. Without doubt, it carries in itself different viewpoints and still remaining true at its core. It is set in proving to the world that there is an entity who holds great power that rules over all of us from above. What wall then stands between religion and science? Or is it who? Religion has said it in its numerous sermons concerning God and faith of men, of how everything happens for a purpose that sometimes can be so grand human beings cannot discern the true reason behind them. From the Hindus, to the Christians, the clairvoyants, and such, there is always a Greater Being who creates and controls all. However, there are also various differences in every big picture they preach. From these contrasts comes the question of who is truly right. We are reminded though to keep in mind the facts that remain the same no matter from which corner of the world a sect comes from – humans live with souls gifted to them from a Supreme Being. In its own way, Science tries to ignore such arguments. The very existence of it would mean admitting the errors of past declarations that this area of study attested to be wrong. If it comes down to that, there will be chaos. Men would no longer hold in high regard the claims of science despite the grand inventions it has given to ensure the comforts of the population. Yes, let us not forget the gifts that science has also bestowed to us. Yet, they find the theoretical havoc not worthy of shaking the solid throne that science sits upon. In the end, we get to see what the book shows – that there is something astoundingly right and absurdly wrong in each of the two practice. Without doubt, what stands between religion and science are but the mere minds of men who are hell-bent on staking their claim on the belief of the mob.
