ooc. thank you!! iâm lowkey pretty hyped to explore harper & hancockâs relationship, too.  ( harper is such an interesting sole survivor j ust holy shit.  )
She couldn't find a basket that hadn't rotted to hell, so Harper made do with a scavenged plastic Halloween pumpkin. Inside are a number of goodies: a beautifully intact laundered blue dress; an ice cold bottle of Gwinnett Stout; a jar of homemade salsa made from tatoes, peppers, onions and herbs from the garden; & a pair of thick, fur-lined brahmin-leather gloves, all sitting in a nest of pre-war money. It's useless, now, but she figured Quinn would appreciate the aesthetic of it.
Much like Harperâs known for, the pumpkin makes its appearance with little fuss and no explanation; left on the sill by her bed like some remnant decor to a holiday long forgotten. Quinn sits herself at the edge of her bed, sorting through the items with the same meticulous care she gives to everything WORTH giving attention to. The salsa held up and inspected with a pleased eye; gloves held between calloused hands before slipping them on, testing; the dress inspected, then folded neatly away in her dresser to wear on a warmer day; the bottle left on her stand to be opened afterwards.
The prewar money was something different. The single piece that lacked any real explanation or practicality in all of it. And yet, Quinn couldnât help but find herself flipping through the pad of old paper like itâs something nostalgic.Â
She tucks the bills away into her coat, then plucks the Stout and makes for the kitchen to grab an opener. Harper always was something an enigma, but it could never be said she didnât careâor that she didnât know just the right gifts to get.

âYour turn, Harps.â
With little time to waste, Quinn tosses the coat and hat to Harper before making a rushing hand gesture.
âKentâs gonna be here any minute--hurry up!âÂ

How does Piper feel about you || @relicesque
I like you // I love you // Youâre one of my best friends // Youâre like family // You are family // I dislike you // I hate you // Iâd kill you if I got the chance // Iâm scared of you // I would adopt you // Iâd date you // Iâd sleep with you // Iâd marry you // Iâm worried about you // You confuse me // Youâre annoying // I pity you // I respect you // I feel protective of you // Iâd invite you with me to parties // Iâd lend you my money // Iâd borrow your money // Youâre good-looking // Iâm suspicious of you // Iâm hiding something from you // Youâre fun // Youâre boring // Youâre nice // Youâre mean // Youâre smart // Youâre stupid // I look up to you // I think youâre a better person than me // I think Iâm a better person than you // I want to apologize to you // I wish Iâd never met you // I never want to forget you // I want to get to know you better

16: What makes them feel guilty?
TYPICALLY, anything that compromises her duties and responsibilities. Sheâs task oriented and when personal entanglements interfere with those things, it tends to sour her mood and follow on the coattails of every little thought and action she has throughout the day. Another thing that causes a lot of guilt is if Quinn feels like sheâs ever beholden to anyone. Sheâll go to almost absurd lengths to wipe away that perceived âdebt.â
20: Religious/Spiritual?
Before the war, yes, but more out of obligation, but she does believe in some form of higher power.  Though Quinnâs painfully aware that the bombs fell  by human hand, she does have a quiet crisis of faith that ties in to the sheer culture and psychological shock since leaving the vault.Â
Thereâs comfort found in the small church in Diamond City. Quinn will often go there and sit and pray, reflect, and focus herself once more. Though the priest there prescribes to no specific faith, she finds that talking with him does a lot of good for her mental state.Â
          âYOU SHOULDNâT BE HERE.â
The voice is a hollow echo in the abandoned chambers. It raises an interesting question--how Quinn was found, how Quinn was found by HER of all people. But itâs no real surprise. If anyone could find Quinn, if anyone could get inside that steel trap of a mind, why, Harper might just be the last person on Earth capable of doing so.
The Director turns on her heel--slow and steady--while flint eyes track the shimmering silhouette of her sister target. In another life, Quinn might not have drawn her sidearm. But the Institute is cut to shambles, just like the Railroad, and neither can afford to let their CHILDREN die by the other hand.Â
âLittle Harper Lovelace. Always skulking around, pretending she canât be seen. Youâre not a child anymore, sister, and this isnât another one of your little comic books.âÂ
