what do the terms FAMILY and FRIEND mean to you really
What does the word family mean to you?
Is it and obligation to your blood relatives?
Is it the people that you take care of and vice versa?
Is it the people that made you or the ones that watch out for you and your own even when your not around?
We use the term so lightly and the title is given to those that share a gen or two with you when really most often I've found that those who have no blood relation to me at all are some of the people who have my back at all times. This of course excludes my wonderful Father who is there for me threw thick and thin, along with my Grammy whom has had to take the place of my mother, and siblings, and a handful of aunts and uncles who adore and see every once in a short while.
But most often its my sister Lizzy whom is no longer related to me by marriage but i whole heartedly will everyday call my sister because that's exactly who she is. and my brothers girlfriend who every time I'm down seems to sense it and give me a call at the most opportune times or my step mother who has me in her prayers always. and Ashley and Feye who takes care of all of my things in Vegas while gone.I think the term family is given to lightly!just as the term friend that of which I have been sooo guilty of handing out like candy at Halloween.
you really learn who is and isn't worth of the term friend and family as the need comes to pass and we see who comes to your rescue. family and friends are there for whatever when ever and to as much as they can out of love with no strings attached.thats love. thats family. and im so sorry to have been so blind to use these terms without the support of the person its been given......
