Lucanis.

I could sit and watch him cook all day. Why am I more interested in him using a knife to chop vegetable than assassinations? Well... he looks so happy when cooking, I wish I could paint that smile and keep it with me. Lucanis has such a beautiful smile.

Spite.

Truthfully, the question was as amusing as it was exasperating, though he could only imagine it fell far more on the side of exasperation for Lucanis. Thankfully, the dear Crow was sleeping, and Emmrich had offered to keep Spite occupied while Lucanis took his well-earned rest.

That being said, the question was far more preferable than turning around to find the demon taking a bite out of the wax.

"Ah, well -- whilst the candle does smell inviting, scent does not always mean edible. We add scents to candles because we enjoy the aroma. However, humans cannot eat wax. It is simply not food for us."

Emmrich paused, glancing over at Spite to see if the demon understood, before adding, "However, if you do wish to try something edible, I would be more than glad to brew us both some tea. I am sure I could make a berry tea that would both smell and taste delightful."
