The pure blue color of the sky (which is also his eye color)

15: What makes your OC angry?

The unnecessary destruction of life - both sentient and non-sentient. Cold-blooded murder, deforestation, etc. He loves nature and does his best to take care that everything he does impacts the environment positively.

25: What time of year does your OC prefer?

Spring and summer. He doesn’t mind the cooler months, but he prefers the spring when everything is blooming and the summer for the sunshine and warm nights.

52: How does your OC feel about insects?

He doesn’t mind them. Most are Good Bugs and he is friendly towards them. But some are Evil and he frowns upon them.

59: What is the first thing that someone would notice about your OC?

OK FIRST OF ALL I’M LAUGHING BECAUSE BF IS IN GRIZZLY HILLS SUFFERING AND ALL I CAN THINK OF IS BEARS OH MY GOD SO MANY BEARS.

Rekvan is in nothing but his loins. In the cold. He don’t care cuz he’s a bearorc. He’s gonna get his stuff back one way or another because spirits be damned that shit cost him a lotta money. Cue Angry Bear mode with tiny Devon riding his back while he runs after the thieves.

Plot twist: the thieves were bears and Rekvan punches a bunch of bears.

Rekvan takes birthdays Very Seriously because he’s all about respecting life and all so he does his best to remember and honor birthdays. That said, Devon teasing him by not being specific has him paranoid and he starts to go out and buy small gifts each day, like a bracelet or a brooch, despite his lack of any real funds, all while handcrafting a bigger gift (piece of armor??? a new hardened leather violin case???) that he hopes will be done by her actual birthday.

How does the character prepare in the morning?

Whenever he’s at an inn, he’ll start by washing his face with cold water, brushing his teeth if he has a toothbrush, then meticulously trimming and shaping his beard with a knife. He’ll tie his hair back up in his signature topknot if it’s not up already. Course, now that he’s with Devon sometimes he lets her help with the brushing and beard maintenance.

Do they sing in the shower?

Not usually, but he does hum old Pandaren folk songs when he’s relaxing in a bath.

What kind of hair product/make-up do they use?

Nothing too special, though he does get all natural shampoo if he can because he likes the smell of fresh flowers used in them. A simple bar of soap does the rest just fine.

How clean is this character?

His feet are often dusty from not wearing any shoes, but the rest of him is pretty darn clean. Now and then there’ll be bugs and such on him since he’d be sleeping outdoors now and then, but he doesn’t smell bad. Actually, he smells really nice, though it’s probably from being with Devon.

Does the character have thousands of shampoo/shower gel bottles by the shower, or do they use only the bare essentials?

To save his friends, he had to risk it all to kill them. He walked into the Vale knowing that he would either come out victorious or dead. He was resolved to carry out his plan. He could not bear to see his friends corrupted by the sha, trying to get him to join them with enticing offers of power. 11 orcs walked into the fields of the Vale, only 1 walked away with a heavy heart and deep regrets.

Earthroot: What is your character's preferred environment outside of a town or city? Open plains, a forest, or something else? Is it hot, cold, or warm there?

He's most at home in temperate climates, not too hot and not too cold. Open plains, valleys, anywhere with the potential for plenty of wildlife and plants. It's just so peaceful and takes his mind off things when he has the chance to lay down on soft grass and watch the clouds roll by.
