May I request Oni!Hanzo where he and Reader have children (preferably 4 but you can decide for youself) together and they both have to deal with their antics and try to live a normal domestic life? (Even though lets be real it's f a r from normal.)
This was really cute to write and I hope you like it as well! I did it in HC form, but if you want something different, please tell me.
- Thehouse would be oh-so-busy, really. Why did you decide to have four childrenagain? Four fire breathing and downright naughty children at that? Literallythe only child that was quiet and sweet, was the youngest one of the litter, your little boy who was just a few months old. The others however⦠none of themseemed to have inherited their fatherās calm demeanor, oh no. As you sighed atyour other three, well, demons of children running through the house andtumbling over various objects because of their already inhuman strength, youcould only hope that the furniture would survive unscathed. Hanzo had already educatedyou about how demon children behaved and the process of their youth, however, you did not expect for it to get this⦠intense. Your own husband seemed soquiet and reserved after all, it was hard to believe that most demons were indeedrather rough and relentless.
- Perhapsthe reason why your youngest one was so well behaved, was because he seemed tohave inherited most of your human genes, making him less of a hassle to takecare of and he also lacked in size and attitude compared to his two brothersand sister. The eldest of the pair, the rambunctious boy and by far the mostloudest as well, was already starting to grow his horns as faint pointedobjects were making its way through his hairline. Honestly, without Hanzo byyour side, you would have no idea how to raise them or even survive them. Itfrequently would get out of hand and in the end you would have no house left tolive in anymore, everything being clawed, bitten or even burnt over. They weresuch a handful and you wondered if even demon mothers did not get tired sometimes. But luckily, your husband was not far away and he quickly made his way throughthe room towards the little troublemakers after seeing your pleading gaze. Ashe suddenly appeared before them with quite an intimidating and stern look, hisarms folded over each other, the children immediately seemed to quiet downsomehow. No demon child ever wanted to anger their father, as calm as a growndemon could be, they had a hidden fire deep inside which should not be ignitedat all costs.
- Yousighed in relief as you rocked your baby boy in your arms, the noise of hissiblingās antics having awoken him from his slumber and he started to squirmslightly out of discomfort and thus, you brought him somewhere quiet to seewhat he needed before returning to the living room. āThat is quite enough, nomore. And you will be taking care of this mess you have just made.ā The ratherharsh and authoritative tone of the demon archer resonated throughout the room, the sound being able to scare off pretty much any human being, but yourchildren simply pouted at him and started cleaning up the living room whileuttering low protests. Their father was having none of it though and keptwatching them with a keen eye, making sure not a spot was left unattended. You rememberbeing a little confused on the day of your first pregnancy, when Hanzo told youthat the upbringing of a demon child was in no way similar to that of a humanone and it required the utmost attention and most of all, patience. They werebigger, proud and independent creatures, sometimes even defying their parents ifthey failed to handle them accordingly, which is why taking a dominant role astheir parent was so important. The culture and behavior amongst demons was sodifferent of that of humans, that it became a whole study for you. Thepregnancy itself was not so easy either, as you could noticeably feel adifference during the process of it all, you were sure and even had to eat afew unappetizing meals because of the necessary nutrients you and the demonchild needed. Not to mention, a demon child asked far more of your body, draining your energy almost constantly every day, which made you extremelytired at the end of it. You really needed Hanzo by your side through every oneof the pregnancies you had as you would not have been able to provide fully foryourself and needed constant vitamin intake along with extra portions of foodto keep you going.
- Thearcher often felt guilty about it though, especially upon seeing you so tiredand taking more frequent naps throughout the day. You always made sure toreassure him though, telling him that no pregnancy was easy and that despitethe stressful time to come, the child(ren) would bring a lot of joy in return. However,it was hard for his guilt to vanish, even after your following pregnancies. But, he tried his best to ignore his constant train of worried thoughts bytaking care of you the best he could. Back to the present, you honestly werenot really a fan of being an overly disciplined parent, but in this currentstage of your demon childrenās lives it was a necessity according to yourhusband. Fortunately though, demon children would usually become more stableand less hyperactive once they enter adolescence, which was a rather pleasant contrastto human children for a chance. The most difficult period was by far the earlypart of their childhood and you easily believed that from the experience youhad built up yourself up till now. Despite their wild natures, they could alsobe sweethearts at times though, just like normal children even demons neededtheir affection from their parents and you cherished every moment in whichthose would occur. They still liked to be read a bedtime story and the waytheir faces would light up was simply too adorable to resist and they werequite the cuddle monsters as well, although reminding them of their strength wasoften needed as they tended to crush you in their hold. For such smallchildren, they already possessed a lot of strength, which amazed you every dayyou spent time with them and made you proud to be their parent.
- Yourchildren were mostly gentle around you though, much like your husband. Theywere somehow instinctively aware that you were different from their father, more fragile but not weak in any way. And so, they would often softly lay theirheads in your laps and let out approving noises once you started petting them, arather animalistic trait you noted, but had come accustomed to through spendingtime with Hanzo and his own habits. Your children were different in every way,but no less loveable or childlike. Sure, they had their rough edges and oddhabits, but they were just as cute as any human child and you were sure thatthey would grow into fine adults, especially with the help of your husband.Speaking of him, the great demon warrior had joined your side not too long ago,his admirable stealth making him undetectable and you slightly jolted at hispresence once he sat down next to you and the children. A fond smile spreadacross his face as he looked at the now sleeping figures of his offspring, making his sharp fangs visible to you and you couldnāt help but look at them asthey looked quite beautiful, glimmering under the soft lighting of the room. āYouare doing a fine job as their parent, my love. They respect you deeply.ā Hanzoshuffled closer to you and his arms found his way around your waist, holdingyou gently while whispering near your ear.
- Youcouldnāt help but chuckle at his response though, not very convinced over hisstatement. āIām not too sure. They almost tore down the living room today afterall, had you not interfered they would have surely succeeded.ā You laughedlightly afterwards, stroking your younger daughter on her head, caressing hersoft tresses. āYou need not worry, they will learn in time and mostimportantly, they are bound to their home and those they care about. After all,a demon does not become comfortable in a place it does not deem worthy.ā Thedemon archer replied as he watched you adoring his children, a soft look in hiseyes. āI sure hope so. We are their parents after all, however I would like itif they left the furniture alive.ā The both of you had to chuckle at that andHanzo gave you an affectionate kiss on your cheek, his rough beard ticklingyour sensitive skin and you decided to stay like this for a while longer beforeputting the children to bed. Moments like these were not always so generousafter all, your children being very playful most of the time and demons neededfar less sleep than humans did, so they were quick to wake up as well and startanother rampage. For now though, you couldnāt help but smile at their innocenceand decided to treasure it for the time being.
