I can’t say definitively who my favorite characters are but Reither is definitely up there..
One of the oldest living mortals of the world, or well, immortal. She was alive to know Ivory, The Pale Lady, in person. Old enough to remember before the sea boiled, before magic was gone from the world.
When you truly believe that Lady Ivory is your friend but you turn into a soul experiment and it sets you on a course of violence and longing for death
#id say she’s the oldest but technically I think Dismon predates her by a couple years#she has a lot of issues: 50% because her soul is split 50% her own beliefs about herself#within that percentage is a like 20% due to her parents who treated her as a dangerous animal basically#not to mention she killed her own kids (unintentionally)(her soul fully cracked in half and she kind of blacked out)#(she doesn’t remember what happened just has a sinking sickness that it was by her own hand)#and then died and came back and killed the woman she had a massive crush on#<- that is also due to her soul split problem#and lets not forget the continual destruction of churches to the pale lady#the general violence that follows her.. Oh yeah and that entire town she killed by having boreas and his freak godly magic that got messed-#up and so looking directly at people makes them. well basically the entire town broke out into a fight and killed eachother#BUT she did adopt a sad little guy whos moms died in the massacre..saved him and ran off with his near dead body in hand. she loves ciar.#she'd never admit it because she's scared of losing more people she loves but she loves him and the rest of her little ducklings#she's their mama#anyways her whole goal i to literally just die BUT she'll learn to live just don't her that i broke my promise to her that she'd die.....#reither#there's a lot more i could say about her#anyways i have to go back to studying my fish i was told i could go ekirem post if i spent an hour studying#petri ponders
