The first thing Kido came to notice was the other girl's outfit, indicating she either was a shrine pristress, or liked to cosplay. Usually, she'd assume the latter, but given where they were and how outfits shouldn't puzzle her anymore in the first place, Kido decided to not comment on it. Also, that'd just be rude.
What did spark a conversation though was the fact that this girl was about to get into a fight with another stranger, who apparently provoked her. Unaware what exactly was going on, but knowing this might end on a very bad note was she not to intervene, Kido raised her voice:
  "Oi! Oi... let's calm down, okay? Just ignore this guy."
