First of all, thank you! Okay let's get started.

For this tutorial, we're going to use this Supernatural poster that I made a couple of days ago as a reference. Before starting, I looked up vintage movie posters on Google and studied them. I suggest you do the same.

Open a 500x650 canvas. Make a new layer, add a solid color fill and set it to your desired shade. For this graphic I used #f7e8d5.

Create another new layer. With the rectangular marquee tool, click and drag to make the area where you're going to put the main elements of your poster. The click edit, choose fill, and set the color. I used #5aab71.

For the Impala, the effect I used is the halftone pattern. Add grain to the original image, add a black and white gradient map, duplicate the original layer and put it on top of the gradient map. Then click on filter>>sketch>>halftone pattern and set it as you please. Adjust the opacity of the layer as well as the curves. Cut it out and place it on your canvas.

For that slanting thing with the title on it (lol idk what else to call it), add a new layer and repeat step 2, but this time make a small rectangle. Use the free transform tool to position in.

For that dripping slime thing, I used a "blood dripping texture" I found on Google. I cut out the dripping part, placed it on the canvas. Double click it and change the color overlay to your desired shade. I used #171717.

Now we go to the texts. The fonts that I suggest you use are sans serif fonts or retro fonts for the titles and sort of hand written cartoonish fonts for the details. Of course, experimenting is a great way to achieve the look that you want. I used Market Deco for "Saving People... Hunting Things... The Family Business", Mars Attacks for the title, and Fangtasia for the credits. 

We're almost done! Next thing we're going to do is to add the textures. Folded paper textures are the best things to use since they add an old and worn out feel to it. Google them or use the ones you already have. Don't forget to adjust the opacity.

I added this texture from clawsandfangs to give it a more vintage-y look. Set it to linear burn and adjust the opacity. Adjust the vibrance if you want and you're done!
