closed starter for @fatemcrked location: slytherin common room
Flopped down in a chair, Dahey had grown tired of taking over the common room as his own personal fashion show. Nothing was right today. Which he knew was an impossibility. Statistically speaking, there was no way all his clothes looked awful on him. Clothes he’d worn before. Outfits he’d put together often were suddenly the worst. It wasn’t fun and there was no reason to look this glamorous for supper but there was rarely reason for Dahey to wear anything he did. (other than his own happiness)
Defeated, annoyed, hungry, he sat there in what would have been called his Sunday best pre-Hogwarts. Dress slacks, button down, and his house sweater. This was no longer the “Sunday best” and instead “so desperate I’ll try dressing up my uniform”. It didn’t work. He’d been defeated by his own wardrobe and now it was everyone’s problem. Sulking in his chair, stretched out as far as he could to take up more room than his small body should be able to, and sighing heavily a few times, Dahey really played up it. For no one in particular and everyone all at once.Â
