most things felt like the usual, just like another day being a trainee - yoojin would wake up, leave his dorm, and proceed to training.
but everything felt different because now he was an idol, now he was type zero’s yoojin.
after the initial shock and surprise with debut news, his schedule went from practicing to practicing, but also moving to the group’s dorm, and finally meeting with his roommates.Â
he couldn’t say he wouldn’t miss the place he considered his home for so many years, but the idea of moving to a new place was exciting, especially knowing he was going to share his room with danny - someone he had been growing closer to since their past schedules together; it was certainly a blessing to have someone he already knew in the same group. the burden of being the newbie was being shared with someone else.
he thought the dorms were as neat as the trainee ones, but he felt a little more intimidated when room b’s door was opened in front of him, and he realized there were only two beds there; it felt more real.
of course danny’s stuff was already there, but there were no signs of his roommate, and yoojin wondered if he was already hanging out with the members, and for a moment, he felt a little dejected, his mind planning scenarios to meet the hyungs.Â
“breathe, yoojin.” he told himself, as he placed his bags on the bed and sat down, finally allowing himself to breathe deep, allowing reality to sink in.
he was an idol now, type zero’s yoojin.
and then he smiled.
“this is so fucking awesome!” he threw himself back, the bed creaking for a moment as he giggled.

he froze on the spot, he wasn’t expecting that person.
of all people yoojin avoided like the plague, meaning he tracked their moves and refrained from going to those same spots, was the man now standing in front of him, blocking his way from reaching the street.
the man who owned the company that ruined his life.
he felt his blood boil, and wanted nothing more than to punch him in the face and give him the hardest time of his life. because of him, Yoojin lost his parents, his life, his youth, and a career that was so brilliant and ahead of him that he could almost taste it.
everything that shitty company did to him, how they tricked him and his family, how they discarded him as trash when he wasn’t necessary anymore, when they made his injury a lost case, just another child star who lost its spark, was enough for him to take that step.
“can’t say i share the same feeling”, he bitterly replied, trying to pass by the man, who talked to him again.
“heard you’re in legacy now. it’s surprising they want you.”
yoojin noticed the man wanted to trigger him somehow, but he wasn’t going to give him the pleasure. “you surprise yourself a lot. i’m busy, excuse me.”
when the man realized yoojin wasn’t the shaky kid of ages ago, he just laughed, opening space for yoojin to walk by him. but as soon as the trainee passed by him, he just snarled a “do they know you’re damaged merch?”
now it was yoojin’s turn to laugh, even if he felt like he had the right to punch the man on the face and break his nose. “the only damaged thing i see here is your company. you went bankrupt, didn’t you?”
yoojin never waited to hear the man’s answer. he had a career in front of him, dreams he was going to fulfill.Â
